What is PMS?
PMS or Premenstrual Syndrome is a condition that occurs about one to two weeks before menstruation. The factors that cause PMS are changes in the body, such as changes in female hormone levels. PMS is not a dangerous condition, but it can disrupt the daily life of many women, affecting them in many ways, both physical and mental. PMS symptoms include:
- Breast engorgement
- Muscle pain
- Abdominal pain
- Weight gain
- Fatigue
- Acne
- Mood swings
- More appetite than usual
- Stress
- Sadness
What to do
